Acid Rain Experiment: Science

What is Acid Rain? Acid rain is a rain or any other form of precipitation that is unusually acidic.

How does it form? Acid rain is caused by a chemical reaction that begins when compound like sulfur
dioxide and nitrogen oxides are released into the air.

Why does acid rain matter? because acid rain cause pollution and pollution cause disease

Method:
1. set up petri dish
-Add a few drops of water to these.

2.Add 1 spatula of sodium sulfide to weigh boat
-take photo

3.Add 5 drops of sulfuric acid and quickly put lid on

4.watch and take photos

  1. Good Start Rusi! You identified some of the changes that happened during your experiment. Next time, it would be great to see you explain why those changes happened.
