Social Studies-Ta Moko

What have I learned? I learned a lot of things about Maori art and their different meanings. Ta Moko means a traditional tattoo to the face or body. Ta Moko is a core component of Maori culture an outward expression of commitment and respect.

Why I choose this design? I choose this design because it looks cool.
This is my Maori art design

  1. Hi Rusi
You have given a nice clear answer about what a Ta Moko is, great job. Can you think of some examples of what ta moko can represent about a person?

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
