we got sent a task to do see how much science areas we know. 

ROCK ART

This  week our class have been designing our rocks.......

We have been painting our rocks and it has been a lot of fun.

A lot of work has been done on designing  and painting our art work 

Whea Mel has taught us to be patient with our painting.

She also taught us to focus, pay attention and how to breathe while painting.

We have been doing some good  work and she s impressed with our designs.

TITLE- sklttles experiment



Method.

1/2 fill a perti dish with water .

carefully place 4 differently coloured
skittles evenly spaced around the outside
of the perti dish.


hypothesis
I think that the skittles will change colour and the water will change colour.


scientific reasoning.

1.what question arose  in your mind as you did the activity
how does the skittle and the water  change water.

2.what could you do to see if your ideas are correct
complete the experiment and find out how it goes.

ROCK ART

W.A.L.T-These few weeks we have been learning
some new maori words and there meanings.



This week we have been  doing some paintings and learning some key words
like koru, ritorito, kowhatu toi and some others.It has been fun learning about
rock art.We have been shown some rocks that have been painted.

We have been tought  how to do sketch drawings . I have been facing some
challenging problems in drawing but its fun and try to do better next time.
I have been successful at painting and i still need to do well in drawing.
